Assistance is task-specific

Retrieving an item or carrying a basket may be more valuable than a broad benchmark. Accessibility design starts with lived tasks.

Voice is not enough

Natural language should be complemented by visual controls, physical stop controls and alternatives for speech, hearing, vision or cognitive differences.

Do not blur medical claims

Household assistance and reminders are not automatically diagnosis, treatment or clinical monitoring. Claims must match certification and intended use.

Dignity and consent

Residents should control private rooms, memory and remote access. Family convenience should not override autonomy.

Design fallback

When a task fails, the robot should ask for help or leave the environment stable rather than silently creating new risk.
